На трассе случилась массовая авария, повлекшая за собой столкновение 11 мотоциклов.
Инцидент произошел на первом круге гонки, участники выезжали из поворота. Дженнер получил первую помощь на трассе, но скончался уже в больнице от тяжелой черепно-мозговой травмы. Ричардсона госпитализировали с тяжелыми травмами грудной клетки, он умер по дороге в медучреждение.
